Our Mission Statement
The faculty and staff of the Dr. Arthur Sullivan Middle School believe that all children can learn. With this as our guiding principle, we enthusiastically embrace our mission to make a positive difference in the life of every child who attends Sullivan Middle School.

At Sullivan Middle School, each child is celebrated as an individual with unique and special talents. We will respect and nurture the talent that each student possesses, and will foster in our students the curiosity necessary to strengthen and deepen those talents and abilities.

Sullivan Middle School is dedicated to creating a strong partnership with the community, parents and school to ensure the safety and success of all students.
Instructional Focus

School wide efforts to have all Sullivan Middle School students show measurable growth in their ability to read, write and orally respond in all disciplines through an agreed upon set of common teaching practices. Student growth will be measured by MCAS and MAP testing and common school-wide assessment.
